The Waldorf Astoria hotel will mark its debut in India’s capital, featuring 150 rooms and suites. The hotel will offer signature dining options, large event spaces, and wellness amenities. This development is part of Hilton’s broader strategy to expand its luxury accommodations in India’s rapidly growing market.
Additionally, the agreement includes the launch of a 350-room Hilton Hotels & Resorts property, the first of its kind in New Delhi. This hotel aims to cater to business and leisure travelers, providing sophisticated facilities, various dining options, and social spaces.
GMR Aerocity, where both hotels will be situated, is recognized as India’s first global business district. It includes premium hotels, restaurants, and future-ready office spaces, making it a central hub for hospitality and commercial activities in the capital.
These new projects are expected to enhance Hilton’s existing portfolio in New Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), which currently includes four properties. GMR Aerocity’s strategic location offers optimal connectivity to the city and the broader region, potentially increasing guest traffic and business opportunities for the new hotels.
