KOKO HOTELS Unifies Brands Under Single Name

Polaris Holdings Co., Ltd. and Minacia Co., Ltd. have consolidated their hotel brands into KOKO HOTELS, now operating 63 properties across Japan.

Polaris Holdings Co., Ltd. and Minacia Co., Ltd., which merged in December 2024, have announced the integration of their hotel brands into a single entity, KOKO HOTELS. As of September 2025, the unified brand operates 63 hotels, totaling 9,489 rooms across Japan. This consolidation places KOKO HOTELS among the top ten domestic hotel brands in Japan by scale.

The integration combines the previously separate brands of KOKO HOTELS, Hotel Wing International, and Tenza Hotel. The move is part of a strategic response to increasing inbound tourism and renewed domestic travel demand. The unified brand aims to provide a comprehensive travel experience, serving as a hub for guests to explore local attractions, cuisine, and culture.

KOKO HOTELS has also introduced new brand visuals and guest services. These include a “Taste of Japan Dashi Amenity,” offering guests regional blends of umami, a unified fragrance program across properties, an eco-bag lending service, and a virtual trip guide powered by AI. Additionally, the brand has enhanced guest experiences at check-in by appointing Brand Ambassadors at each hotel.

The brand plans to expand its portfolio with the launch of KOKO STAY and 12 new hotel openings by spring 2028. This expansion will add to its existing brands of KOKO HOTEL, KOKO HOTEL Premier, and KOKO HOTEL Residence.
