Classic British Hotels has added The Mount Country Manor Hotel and Golf to its portfolio of independent properties.
The Grade II listed Victorian manor house is situated within four acres of gardens on the outskirts of Wolverhampton.
The hotel features 67 bedrooms and suites, including a serviced apartment in a converted stable courtyard.
The site is located five minutes from Wolverhampton city centre and provides access to local landmarks such as Wightwick Manor and Dudley Zoo.
The partnership expands the group’s meetings and events capacity in the West Midlands. The property contains function spaces for up to 180 delegates, equipped with 1GB WiFi and audiovisual infrastructure for corporate use.
Guests at the manor have access to the nearby Mount Golf and Country Club facility. The complex includes an 18-hole parkland course and a new padel club featuring four floodlit courts, a gym, and saunas.
The Victorian property was originally constructed in 1865. The hotel currently operates the Drawing Room Bar and Grill, which uses locally sourced ingredients for its British menu.
