Pub and hotel operator Provenance Collection has announced new leadership changes, following the sale of three North Yorkshire hospitality venues since the beginning of 2026. 

Anthony Blundell will succeed Peter Grazier as managing director this month. Grazier, who made the decision to step down to receive treatment for leukaemia, will return to the business in a non-executive capacity upon his recovery. 

Provenance expects head of operations Dan Burkitt and head of finance Amanda Gillis to support Grazier upon his return. 

The hospitality group offloaded the Black Bull at Moulton, the Punch Bowl at Marton-cum-Grafton and the Cleveland Tontine near Northallerton. 

According to management, the sales were a deliberate repositioning to allow for targeted growth at its strongest-performing remaining sites.

The company stated that forward bookings for the summer season remain positive across its remaining boutique hotels, inns and restaurants.
