Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh has officially completed its transition to The Unlimited Collection following a refurbishment of its 169 rooms.
The Princes Street property is the seventh globally under the brand, which is owned by The Ascott Limited. The portfolio includes sites in Dublin, Vietnam, and Singapore.
Glasgow-based interior design studio Bell and Swift oversaw the room renovations. The designs incorporate leather detailing, metalwork, and patterned fabrics inspired by historic train carriages and traditional travel chests.
The hotel will introduce several Scottish-themed packages for guests. These include excursions, poetry left on pillows, and a bagpiper greeting arrivals.
The hotel’s new restaurant and bar, Eidyn, will also host evening events featuring local food and drink, as well as run whisky and gin masterclasses.
