Cornwall coastal hotel SeaSpace has appointed Andrew Kitching as its general manager to oversee guest experience, staff development and business growth.
Kitching brings more than 20 years of hospitality leadership experience, following a career spanning hotels, restaurants, golf resorts and leisure destinations across the UK. Progressing through senior leadership to general manager positions, his previous roles include general manager at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire and more than five years leading two Parkdean Resorts properties.
His responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of the guest experience and day-to-day operations, while supporting the hotel’s long-term growth ambitions of positioning itself as one of the UK’s most innovative hospitality destinations.
Speaking on his appointment, Kitching said: “Joining SeaSpace was an opportunity to be part of something genuinely different. The ambition to redefine coastal hospitality, the freedom to help shape a new brand from its infancy and the chance to create a destination that people want to return to again and again made it an easy decision.
