Andy Roger has announced his departure as resort director at Mar Hall Golf and Resort in Glasgow, after one year of service.
Roger said in a Linkedin post: “After leading a number of high‑profile resort and hotel operations – and delivering major openings and transformations – I’m now ready for the next challenge.”
Roger said he is “interested in senior leadership roles” in both single and regional capacities. Prior to his position with the resort, he served as CEO at Lost Shore Surf Resort, where he oversaw the launch of the world’s first inland surf Resort in November 2024.
In 2013, he joined luxury hotel Cameron House as operations director and later resort director, leading a team of 600 staff through two ownership changes, major refurbishments and expansion.
Roger added: “In the short term, I’ve also been undertaking consultancy work and would welcome interim or advisory opportunities, supporting owners and operators through growth, repositioning and change.
“With over 25 years’ experience across luxury hotels and destination resorts, I bring a strong track record of delivering operational excellence, leading complex openings and refurbishments and building high‑performing teams that drive both commercial performance and exceptional guest experiences.”
Roger said he is welcoming potential conversations with investors, owners and executive teams as he enters the next phase of his career.
