Luxury hotel group Montcalm Collection has appointed Jonathan Mills as its new head of hotels amid the group’s preparations for future growth and property developments.
Mills will succeed Samantha van Exter, who has held the role since June 2023. He joins the senior leadership team with experience in hotel management, operations and commercial roles across international hotel groups in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
The appointment comes as the business prepares for the relaunch of Montcalm Royal London House, Autograph Collection, which is currently undergoing an extensive renovation. The developments form part of ongoing investments into the group’s new phase of growth.
Montcalm Collection is a privately held group, operating a portfolio of 15 luxury and boutique hotels located across London, offering almost 2,000 guest rooms. The group is recognised for its sustainable hospitality focus and its autograph collection affiliates.
Mills will be responsible for overseeing hotel operations, particularly for new properties and will lead the group into its next chapter, as it maintains its focus on strengthening its position within the luxury hotel market.
