Elike Clausen has been appointed general manager of the Park Hyatt London River Thames, succeeding Rike Erdbrink at the Nine Elms luxury hotel.
Clausen brings extensive industry experience, having held senior operational and commercial leadership roles across four continents throughout his hospitality career.
In his new role, Clausen will continue to strengthen the hotel’s position as one of London’s luxury destinations, overseeing day-to-day operations as well as supporting and developing employees.
He joins Park Hyatt London River Thames from Kempinski Palace Portorož and Kempinski Hotel Adriatic, where he served as cluster manager. During his tenure with Kempinski, he held senior leadership positions across sales, marketing and executive management before his first general manager appointment at Kempinski Hotel Aqaba in Jordan.
A graduate of École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), Clausen began his career as a sales trainee, building his reputation for delivering guest experiences and high-performing teams. His approach will focus on maintaining service standards while driving operational performance and commercial growth at the hotel.
