The UK’s first JdV by Hyatt hotel is set to open in Witney after property owner CL Capital appointed management company InnPractice to operate and reposition the venue as part of a franchise agreement with a Hyatt affiliate.
The 130-room Oxford Witney Hotel, located 15 miles west of Oxford, will undergo a major refurbishment before reopening under the upscale lifestyle brand by the end of 2026.
InnPractice, launched in 2025, will manage operations using its proprietary performance platform, InnSights.
Design details for the transformed site will reference Witney’s historical wool industry alongside elements inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement.
The hotel will feature a restaurant and bar using local produce, alongside flexible meeting and event spaces with capacity for up to 90 guests.
Graham Norris, managing partner at InnPractice, said: “This is a landmark moment for both InnPractice and for JdV by Hyatt’s arrival in the UK. Oxford Witney Hotel is a compelling setting for the brand’s debut: a characterful market town with its own identity, strong connections to Oxford and the Cotswolds, and real potential to become part of the local social fabric.”
