Frasers Hospitality will launch its Capri by Fraser brand in the UK with the opening of a 180-unit property in Kensington.
Scheduled to open in summer 2027, the 7,000 sqm property will transform seven restored Victorian buildings into a 180-unit hotel combining classic architecture with Capri by Fraser’s technology-driven interiors.
The interiors will preserve the property’s cultural and architectural history, with high ceilings, bay windows, statement staircases and stained-glass features remaining intact.
The hotel will offer facilities including a guest social hub, 24-hour gym, a dedicated space for art exhibitions and community events as well as additional meeting facilities. The dining offering will include breakfast and light snacks throughout the day, as well as a bar serving cocktails and other beverages throughout the evening.
As part of its sustainable redevelopment, Capri by Fraser Kensington will operate without gas, instead using air source heat pumps to support its hot water requirements for lower carbon emissions. Frasers said the move forms part of its commitment to lower-impact hospitality.
The opening will mark the first Capri by Fraser hotel in the UK, with additional sites open in Berlin, Brisbane, Penang and Singapore.
