Boutique luxury hotel House of Gods has promoted Justine Conway to chief executive officer as it opens its latest site in London’s Canary Wharf.
Conway first joined the hotel as operations director in 2023, before progressing onto managing director in 2025. She brings extensive experience within the hospitality sector, following a 10-year tenure with Scotsman Hospitality, where she served as operations manager.
Announcing her promotion on Linkedin, Conway said: “I am delighted to share my new position of chief executive officer at House of Gods Hotel. An incredible brand with an exciting growth plan ahead, starting next week with the opening of our first hotel in London.”
The appointment coincides with the group’s expansion beyond its existing sites in Edinburgh and Glasgow. The Canary Wharf project precedes a further planned launch in Manchester.
Announcing the London opening on Linkedin, Conway wrote: “We officially open our doors in London and welcome our first guests later today. The pre-opening period hasn’t been without its challenges, but what has always shone through is the dedication, commitment and hard work of everyone involved to get us to this point. I couldn’t be prouder of the team we have in place and what we’ve created together.
“House of Gods has never been about simply giving someone a room for the night; it’s about creating experiences people remember and I have no doubt that the team is going to deliver the most amazing experiences for our guests. We’re all incredibly excited to finally welcome London into the world of House of Gods.”
