Air Transat has announced the addition of new international routes and the extension of several seasonal routes to year-round service as part of its summer 2026 program.

Air Transat plans to expand its international network with the introduction of new routes and the extension of seasonal services to year-round operations for the summer 2026 schedule. The airline will introduce new transatlantic flights and enhance its connectivity to Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Starting May 21, 2026, Air Transat will operate a weekly non-stop flight between Quebec City and Marseille on Thursdays, running until October 8, 2026. This route aims to provide a direct connection between Quebec City and the south of France. Additionally, the Quebec City to Fort-de-France service, initially scheduled to launch on December 14, 2025, will now operate year-round with weekly flights on Mondays.

From Ottawa, Air Transat will introduce its first non-stop transatlantic flight to London-Gatwick, commencing on May 15, 2026. This service will be available three times a week on Fridays, Sundays, and Tuesdays. Furthermore, a new Ottawa to Montreal route will be available from May 5 to October 23, 2026, facilitating access to Air Transat’s broader network.

Air Transat will also convert several seasonal routes from Montreal and Toronto to year-round service starting in summer 2026. The Montreal to Cartagena and Medellín route will operate weekly on Thursdays, while the Montreal to Pointe-à-Pitre route will have two weekly flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The Montreal to San José route will offer two weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays. From Toronto, the Cartagena and Medellín route will operate weekly on Wednesdays.

The Montreal to Cartagena route, which will now include Medellín, will be available year-round. This approach mirrors the upcoming Toronto to Cartagena to Medellín route, set to launch on November 2, 2025, and also operate year-round.
