Additionally, NRG Park serves as a multifaceted complex for tradeshows, conventions, and sports events. The facility is set to host seven matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which is expected to attract a significant number of visitors to Houston.
The transaction was completed despite the Comfort Suites’ bankruptcy situation, which imposed a compressed timeline for marketing the listing. The sale process included multiple rounds of offers, generating substantial interest and resulting in significant non-refundable deposits and expedited closing terms. The buyer, MC Hanuman MHM Inc., committed nearly $1 million in non-refundable earnest money on the first day of the purchase and sale agreement and closed the deal ahead of schedule.
