Hyatt is set to open a new five-star hotel at Olympia in spring 2026. The 204-room Hyatt Regency London Olympia will be located in Emberton House, a building that once housed one of Europe’s largest multi-storey car parks.
The new hotel, which is part of the west London district’s £1.3bn redevelopment, has been designed to retain elements of the former structure’s exterior. Hyatt said the property aims to provide a quiet base within reach of central London.
Two food and drink outlets will open on site: Lounge Café and Bar in the lobby, serving light dishes, coffee and cocktails, and Hotel Market, a grab and go counter at the entrance. Guests will have priority access to the neighbouring Pillar Hall, which is being developed with a ground-floor restaurant, a basement speakeasy bar and a first-floor events space.
Pillar Hall has been designed by Robert Angell Design and will be run by restaurant operator D3 Collective, whose kitchens will be overseen by Michelin-starred chefs. The hotel will also include a fitness centre and three connected meeting rooms.
The wider Olympia project will introduce 30 restaurants, bars and cafés; a purpose-built live music and events venue, the British Airways ARC; a new theatre; a senior school; a gym run by 1Rebel; 550,000 sq ft of offices; an additional hotel; and upgraded exhibition and conference facilities at ICC Olympia.
Hyatt said the Regency brand is intended to appeal to business and leisure travellers seeking a connected base in Kensington.
