Hyatt has announced plans to open the first Andaz hotel in Hong Kong, slated for completion in 2027, as part of the Central Crossing development.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has entered into a management agreement with Wing Tai Properties Limited and CSI Properties Limited to open the first Andaz-branded hotel in Hong Kong. Andaz Hong Kong Central, is expected to open in 2027. It will be part of the Central Crossing project located at 118 Wellington Street in Central, Hong Kong.
The development will include 125 guestrooms and suites, with some rooms designed for events. The hotel will feature a Living Room area for social interaction and an all-day restaurant. Additional amenities will include a fitness center and wellness offerings.
Central Crossing, the site of the new hotel, is a mixed-use development that will also include commercial office spaces and green areas. The project aims to integrate heritage architecture with modern design. The location is in Hong Kong’s Central district, known for its business and financial activities, and is close to cultural sites such as Tai Kwun, PMQ, and Central Market. The area is accessible via the city’s central walkway system and is near MTR and Airport Express stations.
The project will also introduce the first Andaz Village, a retail hub featuring a range of brands and wellness experiences.
The Andaz brand, part of Hyatt’s Lifestyle Group, is expanding its presence in Asia Pacific. Other upcoming openings include Andaz Shanghai ITC, Andaz One Bangkok, and Andaz Gold Coast.
