Hilton Cabana Miami Beach Resort has appointed Jorge Madrigal as its new general manager following a recent renovation.
Hilton Cabana Miami Beach Resort has named Jorge Madrigal as its new general manager. Madrigal will be responsible for overseeing the resort’s operations, including guest services, staff management, and strategic planning. He will continue in his role as complex general manager of Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street.
Madrigal’s appointment comes after the completion of a multimillion-dollar renovation at the resort in October 2024. The renovation included redesigned public spaces, refreshed guest suites, updated meeting venues, and a new menu at Allison Restaurant & Bar.
Madrigal has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He began his career in 1984 and has held management positions at Sheraton properties in Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale. In 2010, he was promoted to complex hotel manager for The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort and Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel. He later served as director of rooms at the Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood, Curio Collection by Hilton. Madrigal joined Hilton in 2017 as complex general manager at Embassy Suites by Hilton Deerfield Beach Resort & Spa and Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Madrigal is active in industry and community organizations, including the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, and Visit Lauderdale.
