Scales Farm Country Guest House, a guest house at the foot of one of the Lake District’s most popular peaks near Keswick, has been brought to market with a guide price of £795,000.
The six-bedroom property includes self-contained three-bedroom owners’ accommodation and sits on the Coast to Coast cycle route at the start of several walking paths up Blencathra.
The owners, Ivan and Helen, who have operated the business for 13 years, said they were now planning to retire.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at Scales Farm but now it is time for us to retire and to pass the business on to new owners.”
