The Four Points Flex by Sheraton Brighton has launched on the East Sussex seafront following an extensive refurbishment and integration into the Marriott International portfolio.
The 95-room property, formerly known as the Kings Hotel, comprises three Regency mansions. The renovation included a full upgrade of guest rooms, public spaces, and digital infrastructure.
The hotel is positioned within the Marriott Select brand. It features 10+ room types, including accessible and family suites, and now operates with upgraded Wi-Fi and smart television systems.
The project, which began in April 2025, forms part of the mid-scale expansion for the global hospitality group in the UK. The hotel currently employs approximately 40 staff.
General manager Shaun Donachie and his team will host an official launch event on 5 March 2026. Attendees include representatives from Sussex Tourism Alliance and local sports clubs.
Donachie, who has managed the property for 22 years, said: “All the rooms have been rejuvenated to such a high standard, as one would expect from a Marriott Hotel. I have had returning guests say that it feels like a brand new hotel.”The rebrand and renovation started in April 2025, and has been a huge amount of hard work, but now everything is finally finished, and we couldn’t be more delighted with the results.
“One thing that was important to us was to retain the hotel’s unique character, while upgrading and modernising our infrastructure and rooms.”
