Kempinski Hotels has appointed Barbara Biffi as Chief Brand Officer to lead its brand and marketing strategy.

Kempinski Hotels has announced the appointment of Barbara Biffi as its new Chief Brand Officer. In this newly created role, Biffi will oversee the transformation of the company’s global brand strategy and marketing operations. Her responsibilities include enhancing the brand’s expression and improving digital and eCommerce experiences to align with guest expectations.

Biffi will collaborate with the Product & Experience and Commercial teams to ensure that the brand’s evolution supports commercial objectives while enhancing the guest experience across Kempinski’s portfolio. Her role is designed to strengthen the brand’s presence and adapt its offerings to meet the needs of contemporary travelers.

Before joining Kempinski Hotels, Biffi held senior positions in the luxury hospitality sector, most recently serving as Senior Vice President Global Sales at Silversea. Her career also includes roles at MSC Cruises and Ogilvy. Biffi’s educational background includes a degree in Statistics and Economics from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and an executive certification in Digital Strategy for Business from Columbia Business School.
