Radisson Hotel Group has opened a 300-room resort on the northwest coast of Phuket to expand its presence in Thailand.
The Radisson Resort Layan Phuket is located between Layan Beach and Sirinat National Park. The property is a 30-minute drive from Phuket International Airport and 15 minutes from the nearby Laguna Phuket complex.
Accommodation at the resort includes standard guestrooms, family suites and two-bedroom suites. Amenities feature private balconies, smart televisions and high-speed Wi-Fi access.
The resort has three dining venues. These comprise the Taste Restaurant, which serves Southeast Asian cuisine, the Mangrove Bar and Restaurant for seafood and and the Aroonsawat Café.
Leisure facilities include the Malai Spa, a 24-hour fitness centre with yoga facilities and three outdoor swimming pools set within tropical gardens.
For corporate events, the property offers four meeting rooms named Karon, Kata, Patong and Layan. It also includes a 324-square-metre ballroom equipped with LED screens and audiovisual technology.
Local cultural attractions near the site include Old Phuket Town, Wat Phra Thong temple and the Bang Rong Community.
