Radisson Hotel Group and Jin Jiang International Hotels have opened a new flagship site in Chengdu, marking the brand’s debut in southwest China.
The hotel occupies 16 floors of the Cloud Yunduan Tower within the Business and Innovation Centre for China-Europe Cooperation.
The property contains 178 guestrooms and suites alongside four dining venues, including the Atrium all-day dining restaurant and the Jin Chinese restaurant.
The venue also features two ballrooms measuring 322 and 280sq m to host international conferences and exhibitions.
The site sits close to the Tianfu Software Park and offers transport links via the nearby Tianfu 5th Street metro station. Leisure facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, a spa and a fitness centre located in the annex building.
Mark Mao, chief executive of Jin Jiang International, said: “The opening of the first Radisson Collection hotel in Southwest China reflects Jin Jiang International Hotels and Radisson Hotel Group’s commitment to the coordinated regional development strategy and the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.”
Dai Fangyi, general manager of Radisson Chengdu, added: “By combining international standards with local character, we hope to create memorable experiences for our guests while establishing the hotel as a new benchmark for foreign-related services and a new window for external exchanges.”
