The Pig Hotels has announced plans to open its 10th hotel, The Pig-on the farm in Warwickshire, in late summer 2027 following the restoration of a Grade II-listed manor house and farm buildings.
Located on the 53-acre Walton Estate, around five miles from Stratford-upon-Avon, the hotel will comprise 35 bedrooms spread across the restored farmhouse and surrounding farm buildings, alongside the largest restaurant in The Pig portfolio. The restaurant will operate around the group’s signature 25-mile menu, using produce grown on site and sourced from local suppliers.
According to the group, the hotel will become the group’s most northerly property and its largest to date. Construction is already underway after planning and heritage approvals were secured for what the company described as one of its most complex restoration projects.
The development will include fruit and vegetable gardens, polytunnels, a mushroom house and an on-site smokery. Guest facilities will include treatment rooms housed in shepherd’s huts and electric vehicle charging points.
The Pig acquired the estate in 2022, with work officially beginning on site in January 2026 following an extended planning process.
