Troo Hospitality has appointed hospitality adviser Marc Finney as a non-executive director as it looks to support its next phase of growth and strengthen its strategic leadership.
Finney joins the board with more than 40 years of international hospitality experience and will work alongside the company’s executive leadership team, with a particular focus on supporting its long-term growth strategy. Prior to joining Troo Hospitality, Finney led the Hotels and Resorts Advisory Services division at Colliers, where he oversaw more than 500 consultancy and project finance assignments spanning hotel developments, resort projects and investment transactions.
He stepped back from his leadership role in 2025 and has since taken on a number of strategic advisory positions. During his career, Finney has advised hotel owners, investors, developers and financial institutions across Europe, Africa and the Caribbean, working on projects involving major international brands including Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, IHG, Accor, Radisson, Mandarin Oriental and Corinthia Hotels.
The appointment comes as Troo Hospitality continues to expand its white label hotel management and advisory platform. The business currently manages 15 hotels comprising almost 2,000 keys and has more than £100m under management, while continuing to pursue new opportunities across hotel management, asset management and consultancy.
Finney said: “I am delighted to be joining Troo Hospitality as a non-executive director at such an exciting stage in the company’s development. The business has built an impressive reputation for innovation, entrepreneurial thinking and delivering results for its partners. I look forward to working with the Troo team to support the company’s strategic ambitions and help unlock new opportunities for growth in the years ahead.”
Winston J. Zahra, founder and CEO of Troo Hospitality, added: “We are delighted to welcome Marc to the Troo Hospitality board. His appointment represents a significant addition to our leadership team and reflects the ambitious growth trajectory we have set for ourselves. Few professionals in the hospitality industry can match Marc’s depth of experience, strategic insight and international network.
“He has earned a reputation as one of the sector’s most respected advisers, helping shape some of the most important investment and development projects. As we continue to expand our management platform, pursue new opportunities and strengthen our relationships with owners and investors, Marc’s expertise will be invaluable. His guidance will help fuel the next stage of Troo Hospitality’s growth and further reinforce our commitment to delivering value to our partners and stakeholders.”
