McKeever Hotels has announced a £1.8m investment in The Lodge Hotel, Coleraine, following the group’s acquisition of the property in 2024.
The investment includes a full refurbishment of the hotel’s bedrooms, with upgrades aimed at improving guest comfort and aligning the property with standards across the wider McKeever Hotels portfolio.
Alongside the refurbishment programme, the group has focused on developing the hotel’s role within the local community as part of its “We Do More” approach.
This has included the introduction of the borough’s first Chatty Hotel in partnership with the Causeway Loneliness Network, creating a regular space for people to meet, socialise and help reduce isolation.
Tracy Young, general manager of The Lodge Hotel, said: “The Lodge has always had a strong connection with the local community. We see guests returning year after year, whether they are families enjoying a North Coast break, locals meeting friends or golfers making the most of everything the region has to offer.
“We’re delighted to welcome guests into our newly refurbished bedrooms and continue providing a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.”
