INNSiDE by Meliá Manchester, part of Meliá Hotels International, has unveiled a series of refurbished rooms and suites to mark its 10th anniversary in the city.
The renovation has been rolled out across 52 guestrooms so far, including city view rooms, studio suites and eight townhouse suites. The hotel said further guest rooms will be refurbished during 2026.
The rooms feature updated technology, including bedside USB and USB-C charging ports, as well as smart TVs with Chromecast connectivity for in-room entertainment. The project has also incorporated the reuse of existing features to reduce waste.
The initiative also reflects INNSiDE by Meliá Manchester’s focus on local partnerships and sustainability, as it continues its collaboration with Manchester-based BlackJack Brewery, offering guests a selection of local craft beers, reflecting the city’s heritage.
The materials and finishes chosen for the redesign were selected in line with the hotel’s international sustainability commitments. The move is part of what Meliá Hotels said is an ongoing mission to remain Europe’s most sustainable hotel chain, while combining contemporary design with practicality for a range of visitors.

“Our focus has always been on enhancing comfort and creating a welcoming, contemporary environment, with every room designed to feel like a true home away from home for both business and leisure travellers. This stylish refurbishment has not only modernised the property but also strengthened its alignment with the INNSiDE by Meliá brand.”
