Palladium Hotel Group has opened a marine conservation centre at Grand Palladium Select Palace Ibiza to protect and restore Mediterranean marine ecosystems.
The centre, named Palladium Blue Life HUB, was developed in partnership with Fundación Abel Matutes and Fundación Blue Life. The facility aims to safeguard Posidonia oceanica seagrass meadows and coralligenous reefs.
The hub features a Posidonia nursery, a gorgonian coral recovery area, a marine research laboratory, interactive exhibits and virtual reality experiences. Visitors can book guided dives with scientists to view restoration work.
The initiative expands on the company’s environmental programme, Palladium Cares.
The site will also host educational activities for guests, staff and local community groups.
