Lovelady Shield Country House Hotel and Cottages in Cumbria has been placed on the market by joint receivers.
The 3.5-acre property in the North Pennines includes a 16th Century main manor house with 14 en-suite bedrooms alongside six barn-converted holiday cottages.
Manchester-based Landwood Group and Savills are jointly handling the sale on behalf of receivers FRP Advisory Trading Limited. The site, which previously held outline planning permission for 38 holiday lets, is being sold with all fixtures, fittings and inventory.
