Hilton’s Tapestry Collection is set to make its debut in London after the hotel group signed a franchise agreement with Gama Holdings for a 153-room property near London Bridge.

The London Bridge Hotel, located at 8–18 London Bridge Street, is expected to open as Tapestry Collection by Hilton in early 2028 following a transformation costing more than £12m. The property is situated next to London Bridge Station and within walking distance of The Shard, Borough Market, Tower Bridge and the South Bank.

The hotel will include 153 guest rooms, with garden vault rooms, alongside a redesigned ground floor with several food and drink outlets operated by hospitality partner Individual Restaurants.

The signing marks the arrival of Tapestry Collection by Hilton in the UK capital, making it the ninth Hilton brand operating in London. The collection comprises independent hotels designed to reflect their individual locations, with properties offering locally inspired design, food, drink and experiences.

The London signing follows the brand’s recent expansion across the UK and Ireland, with properties in Plymouth and Cork also due to open in 2027. Four Tapestry Collection properties are currently open across the UK, including The Samuel Ryder Hotel St Albans, Elmbank York, The Marcus Portrush and Dover Marina Hotel and Spa.
