BWH Hotels GB has signed three new independent hotels in Lyndhurst, London and Newark, adding 100 bedrooms to its portfolio.
The expansion brings the total number of bedrooms added through new signings over the past 12 months to 291, after six hotels joined the group during this period.
The latest properties to join the brand are the 36-room Forest Lodge Hotel in Lyndhurst, the 33-room Best Western Chiswick Rooms in West London and the 30-room Sure Hotel Newark.
The additions bring the total portfolio for BWH Hotels GB to more than 230 independent properties, which includes WorldHotels and Best Western.
The Chiswick Rooms property recently completed a £500k bedroom refurbishment. Another recent addition, the Royal Maritime Hotel, generated close to £50k in new business during its first month with the group.
Tim Rumney, chief executive of BWH Hotels GB, said: “Independent hoteliers are under immense pressure from rising operating costs, growing distribution challenges and an increasingly competitive marketplace. Many owners don’t want a traditional franchise model that dictates every aspect of the guest experience.
“Our latest hotel sign-ups reflect this growing demand for flexible affiliation models that combine commercial strength with operational freedom.
