The Morgans Group has acquired The Harper, a 32-bedroom boutique hotel in Langham, North Norfolk for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition marks the first major expansion outside of Wales for the family-run hospitality business.
The hotel, housed in a former glass-blowing factory, was awarded a Michelin Key in 2024. The property includes a fine dining restaurant and bar, a games room, and a spa facility.
The Welsh group manages a portfolio of coastal hotels and dining venues across West Wales.
Management stated the purchase aligns with their strategy of investing in quality independent properties with established reputations.
North Norfolk and the West Wales coast share similar characteristics in their leisure appeal and landscape.
The new owners intend to retain the property’s “distinct personality” while building on the standards set by the existing team.
