The luxury hotel group Taj has reopened the former Grandhotel Hessischer Hof in Frankfurt, marking the brand’s first property in continental Europe.
The 117-room hotel, which closed in 2020, features nine suites designed by Hamburg studio JOI-Design. The largest accommodation, the Royal Presidential Suite, spans 140 sq m and includes two bedrooms, a meeting room and a kitchenette. Seven other suites measure more than 80 sq m.
Located opposite the Frankfurt Trade Fair, the property includes three event spaces, two private dining rooms with a maximum capacity of 70 guests and a members-only club named The Chambers.
Dining options include the 60-seat Bombay Brasserie, headed by executive chef Nilesh Dangwal. The restaurant serves North Indian cuisine and features a 45-seat summer terrace. Evening venue Jimmy’s Bar is managed by head bartender Emmanuel Saridakis, while the Lobby Lounge and Bar offers daily refreshments.
Wellness facilities at the property include the J Wellness Circle, which features private treatment suites, relaxation rooms, a 24-hour gym, two saunas and two steam rooms.
