Swiss luxury hotel The Chedi Andermatt has announced the appointment of Thomas Goval as its new general manager, effective from 1 September.
Goval joins the hotel from Raffles Hotel Singapore, where he worked as hotel manager. He previously held management roles at the Bürgenstock Resort, including hotel manager and acting general manager.
The École hôtelière de Lausanne graduate succeeds the previous management at the five-star hotel.

Sawiris, member of the board of directors of Andermatt Swiss Alps, said: “Our ambition is to establish Andermatt as the prime global hospitality mountain town – defined by exceptional guest experiences, long-term quality and a distinctive Alpine identity. The Chedi Andermatt is central to that ambition.
