Hotel management company, Vine Hotels, has announced it has added Bournemouth’s Collingwood Hotel to its management portfolio.
The hotel offers 53 guest rooms, including double, twin and family rooms, as well as meeting spaces for business travellers. Eden Spa, the hotel’s leisure facility includes an indoor spa, jacuzzi and sauna, as well as offering a selection of beauty treatments and massage options.
The hotel also features multiple dining options, including the Botanical Suite, which holds up to 100 guests and caters to celebrations and formal events, the Bubblegum Lounge cocktail bar, the Bluebird Lounge and the Gold Room restaurant for a’la carte.
The origins of the hotels’ Victorian buildings are embedded in local history surrounding the original owner Sir Dan Godfrey, the founder of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra 125 years ago.
Michelle and Eytan Krips, who have owned the hotel for over nine years, have restored the historic elements of the property and will continue its ownership in its next phase, as Eytan Krips said: “Conservation, restoration and reinvention are at the heart of what we do, and we are passionate about ensuring that we deliver the best guest experiences.
“We are excited to be working with the team at Vine Hotels to further develop our business and showcase our venue to a wider audience.”
