HSMAI Washington DC Chapter today announced that its Hotel General Managers Panel this month will address key topics of interest to Washington area hoteliers, including evolving guest expectations, strategies for building resilient and motivated teams and innovations in operations, revenue optimization and guest experience.

The event, to be held Oct. 29 at The Westin DC Downtown, will feature a panel discussion with Claudia Eggspuhler, general manager of Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf; Niyi Adekanye, general manager of the Hyatt Place Washington DC / National Mall; Kori Johnson, general manager of The Westin DC Downtown; and Jennifer Phillips, Marriott International senior director, revenue management field support, US and Canada.

“The General Managers Panel will be a timely opportunity for hotel team members in every area of responsibility to learn what their leaders are thinking and doing about the challenges facing all hospitality professionals in the DMV,” said Jeremy Huvard, regional director of sales and marketing for Donohoe Hospitality Services and HSMAI DC chapter president.

HSMAI DC’s Hotel General Managers Panel will be held Oct. 29 from 4 to 6 p.m. at The Westin DC Downtown, 999 Ninth St. N.W., Washington, D.C. The cost is $50 for members and $65 for nonmembers. To register, click HERE or go to hsmaidc.org/hospitality-networking-events.
