Savvy Collective has joined the West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce as a patron member, as the hospitality group aims to support regional investment, skills development and the visitor economy across the area.
Founded by chief executive Steven Hesketh in Chester, the company has expanded from a single hotel operation into a portfolio spanning accommodation, venues and events. Assets include The Chester Townhouse, Hotel Wrexham and regional festivals including DevaFest.
The patronage comes as the regional hospitality market experiences growth. UK hotel transaction volumes reached £1.6bn in the first quarter of 2026, according to Savills, while Chester recorded a 2% rise in new licensed venues.
The group operates across five service lines, including management, consultancy, education, events and investment. Its education division includes initiatives targeting schools across England and Wales.
Sarah Bailey, chief executive of the Chamber of Commerce, welcomed Savvy Collective’s appointment, citing its regional focus.
Hesketh said: “This region is where Savvy Collective started, and it’s where we intend to keep investing for years to come. What strikes me about the Chamber’s roadmap is how closely its Vision 2026 programme mirrors our own thinking.
“If West Cheshire and North Wales are going to compete as a visitor and business destination, we need transport links and digital infrastructure that match our ambition and we want our voice in that conversation. We’re looking forward to working alongside the Chamber and fellow Patrons to help this region achieve everything it’s capable of.”
