Boutique townhouse Hotel Vara has promoted Eliot Lynch to hotel manager following four years with the business.
Announcing the promotion on Linkedin, Hotel Vara said: “Having been part of the Hotel Vara team for four years, Eliot Lynch has now stepped into the role of Hotel Manager.
“Eliot is a familiar face who has helped shape our identity over the past four years. Whether he’s sharing local recommendations, helping guests settle in or greeting visitors in their own language, Eliot has a knack for making people feel welcome. Thank you, Eliot – we’re looking forward to this next chapter.”
Lynch will now lead day-to-day operations, guest experience and service standards at the 30-bedroom property. Prior to his promotion, Lynch played a key role in the hotel’s operations, supporting guest services and maintaining the hotel’s reputation as a base for visitors exploring Cornwall. Located in Truro, Cornwall, the Scandinavian-inspired hotel features 30 guest rooms, meeting spaces, a bar and lounge and breakfast space, accommodating guests for both business and leisure.
The promotion comes as Hotel Vara celebrates five years under its current ownership, with Lynch taking on the role as the business enters its next phase of development. Since opening, the independent hotel has focused on providing a personalised guest experience, combining boutique accommodation with a connection to the local area.
