Prism, the parent company of Oyo, has added 40 hotels to its UK portfolio under the Sunday Hotels and Belvilla brands. The expansion comes as the group grows its premium offering ahead of a planned initial public offering (IPO).
The new properties have been secured through leasehold and long-term management agreements and are located across key business and leisure destinations throughout the UK. Prism said the hotels will undergo phased refurbishments to align them with the design and service standards of its premium brands.
The expansion builds on the company’s strategy of repositioning itself from a budget accommodation provider to a global premium hospitality business. Over the past two years, PRISM has expanded its portfolio of full-service brands, which now includes Sunday Hotels, Belvilla, CheckMyGuest, DanCenter and Traum-Ferienwohnungen across Europe.
Following the latest additions, Sunday Hotels now operates 16 properties across England and Wales, while Belvilla’s UK portfolio comprises 24 boutique hotels in locations including London, Bournemouth and Manchester.
The UK expansion also supports Prism’s broader international growth strategy, with overseas markets continuing to drive the group’s performance. During the first nine months of FY26, international operations generated ₹5,814 crore (£449.6m), accounting for nearly 83% of consolidated revenue, while the UK contributed ₹377 crore (£29.2m).
PRISM reported revenue of ₹6,940 crore (£537.2m) during the first nine months of FY26, up from ₹6,252 crore (£484m) a year earlier, while EBITDA increased 123% year on year to ₹2,127 crore (£165m), according to the company.
The expansion comes as the company prepares for its proposed stock market listing, having recently filed an updated draft red herring prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). The company is seeking to raise ₹6,500 crore (£503m) through a fully fresh issue, with the majority of the proceeds earmarked to repay outstanding borrowings.
