Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has opened Tryp by Wyndham, The Hague Scheveningen, marking the brand’s entry into the Dutch market.
The 90-room property sits on the North Sea coast near the Hague, aiming to serve both business and leisure travellers. The opening brings the hospitality group’s total portfolio in the Netherlands to five hotels across four brands.
The building dates from the 1960s and sits within a protected district of Scheveningen. A full renovation preserved the site’s historic identity while updating guestrooms and facilities. Next year, the property reaches its centenary as a hotel site, following the opening of the original Badhotel in 1927.
Located 30km from Rotterdam The Hague Airport and 38km from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, the six-storey hotel includes 90 guestrooms across four categories. Facilities include three meeting rooms, a fitness centre, sauna, steam room, breakfast restaurant, and a lobby bar. The largest event space spans 100 square metres with capacity for 100 guests.
