Radisson Hotel Group has launched the Radisson Blu Hotel, Sinaia Cota 1400, marking the first internationally branded five-star mountain resort at this altitude in Romania.
Occupying a historic building from 1939, the 68-room Radisson Blu Hotel, Sinaia Cota 1400 features contemporary alpine accommodation, direct access to the nearby cable car and ski slopes and a spa area.
The property on Strada Cota 1400 provides connections to the ski areas between Cota 1400 and Cota 2000. It is located near local landmarks including Peleș Castle, Sinaia Monastery and the Casino of Sinaia.
Accommodation consists of 68 rooms and suites, including Standard Rooms, Premium Rooms, Suites and an 89sq m Presidential Suite. Select rooms feature private terraces.
Dining options include Cocon Restaurant, an all-day venue led by executive chef Romică Harabagiu serving European and local dishes, and Tonic Bar and Cigar Lounge. A third outlet, Studio 1400 Après Ski and Terrace, is scheduled to open later this year.
The 700sq m Forȇt Kitsune Spa and Wellness facility includes indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, private treatment rooms, saunas, a hammam, a steam bath, a saline room and a fitness centre equipped with Technogym apparatus.
Event space includes the 122sq m Sfinx Events Hall, which can accommodate up to 126 guests in a reception layout.
