Daish’s Holidays has appointed Imran Muhammad as group financial controller and Craig Hodgkinson as operations director.
Both based at the company’s Bournemouth head office, the new hires bring almost 40 years of combined hospitality experience to the group, which operates 11 hotels across the UK. Muhammad will lead the group’s finance function, overseeing management reporting, financial controls, compliance and team development, the company said.
He brings 14 years of experience in the sector, having begun his career at a London-based accountancy practice before helping establish the finance function at Oceana Hotels in 2015. He continued working in hospitality finance following the company’s relocation to Bournemouth before joining Daish’s Holidays.
Hodgkinson has more than 25 years’ experience in hospitality and has held hotel management roles as well as senior positions including area manager and operations director. At Daish’s, he will oversee operational performance across the hotel portfolio, working with general managers on standards, recruitment, training and compliance, as well as continuous improvement.
Muhammad said: “I am delighted to be joining the team at Daish’s Holidays. The opportunity to further develop the finance function really appealed to me, having done something similar earlier in my career. I was also attracted by Daish’s strong family values and supportive culture. I look forward to working with the team to strengthen financial processes and support the continued success of the business.”
Hodgkinson added: “Becoming part of a well-established family business with such a strong reputation for customer service was a huge draw for me. After spending much of my career with large organisations, I was looking for an opportunity where I could work more closely with the owners and see the direct impact of the decisions we make. I’m looking forward to working alongside the hotel teams to support their development, and ensure every guest enjoys the same high standards, whichever Daish’s hotel they visit.”

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
