Luxury hotel Glenapp Castle has launched a new standalone garden suite, The Nest, offering a nature-focused retreat located within the estate’s grounds on the Ayrshire coast.

The new one-bedroom suite cottage includes a super-king guestroom, a separate sitting room with a sofa bed and the largest bathroom in the Castle, with a roll-top bath and walk-in shower. The suite has been designed as an extension of its setting, with a fluid layout between the bedroom and sitting room, prioritising ease for guests.

With the concept designed to be around privacy and wellbeing, the suite also offers a private sauna, a natural cold plunge, outdoor shower and remote garden space. Guests can access The Nest through a private route located in the estate gardens, escorted by the concierge team allowing for a more exclusive stay away from the main hotel grounds.

There is also the opportunity for guests to participate in a range of experiences, including woodland walks, forest bathing, wild swimming and yoga.

Formerly a tearoom, The Nest combines the estate’s heritage with a modern approach to luxury hospitality, aiming to provide a “restorative escape” for guests.

Glenapp Castle is a five-star, Relais and Châteaux baronial castle hotel in South Ayrshire, Scotland, offering a range of suites, experiences and dining. The launch comes as consumer demand grows for high-end travel experiences focused on privacy, wellness and nature, which the hotel said strengthens its position within Scotland’s luxury tourism market.
