Hotel management company Providence Hotels has announced its acquisition of Hiding Space in Bath, strengthening its position in the UK market and supporting its wider growth strategy.
Hiding Space, located in central Bath close to the Roman Baths, Thermae Spa and Bath Abbey, includes one-bedroom apartments accommodating between one and four guests.
The acquisition will mark the hotel’s next step towards the aparthotel sector, adding a more flexible accommodation model alongside its traditional hotel offerings, another significant milestone in its continued growth strategy. The apartments are aimed at a range of guests including families and groups, to solo travellers and business visitors seeking longer stays.
Joe Bester, chief executive officer of Providence Hotels, said: “We’re delighted to expand into the aparthotel market in Bath. This acquisition allows us to complement our existing portfolio of traditional hotels with a different style of accommodation that appeals to a broader range of guests, from families and groups to solo travellers and business visitors. The flexibility and space offered by these apartments make them an attractive option for both short and extended stays.”
The company said special rates will be available for corporate stays, group bookings, private hire and returning guests.
