Chateau Denmark has announced it has closed following four years of operating in Soho.
In a statement on its website, the business said: “Today comes with news. After more than four years on Denmark Street, the many doors of Chateau Denmark will close on 4 August 2026.
“We want to thank you, because the staggering support you’ve shown us throughout our journey has been anything but traditional. Announcements like this are often peppered with a sense of sadness, but instead we’d rather celebrate what we built together.”
It added: “We created something wonderful, something bold, and that spirit will continue to live on in our award-winning club, Thirteen, and private bar, dial8, which will remain open, welcoming many more good times.”
The boutique hotel opened in Soho in April 2022, and was set across 16 buildings, featuring 55 ‘Session Rooms’ as well as apartments.
In 2023, the hotel also opened its cocktail bar, Thirteen, and private bar dial8, both of which will remain open.
Chateau Denmark was launched by CAW Ventures, a hospitality firm founded by Carrie Wicks, in partnership with Outernet London.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
