A traditional seven-bedroom hotel in Dronfield has been brought to market for £1.1m following the owner’s decision to retire.
Chantry Hotel, located in North East Derbyshire near the Peak District, is a detached Victorian property with double bay fronts.
The freehold property features an entrance hall, porch, large dining room, bar and lounge area, conservatory, commercial kitchen and second-floor owner accommodation. The site also includes a customer car park and award-winning gardens.

Owner Michael Elrick inherited the business three years ago after the death of his partner, who had owned the hotel since 1967. Elrick has now decided to sell the property to focus on his retirement.
Elrick said: “After many years running the hotel, and following the death of my partner in 2023, I made the decision to retire due to ill health and not being able to give such a large property the care it deserves.”
