Leven Manchester hotel has appointed Kostadin Dimitrov as its new general manager, succeeding Daniel Clayton who has served in the role since January 2025.
Dimitrov brings over a decade of experience in hotel management, most recently spending two years as hotel manager at voco Manchester. Prior to this, he served as deputy hotel manager at Hotel BKLYN Manchester and front office manager at Hotel Gotham.
Announcing his appointment on LinkedIn, he said: “After an incredible first week, I’m delighted to officially share that I’ve joined Leven Manchester as general manager. It has been a fantastic start, getting to know such a passionate team, meeting many of our wonderful guests and connecting with clients.”
He added: “Leven is a truly unique hotel, housed within a beautifully restored early 20th Century warehouse, the building celebrates Manchester’s rich industrial heritage while offering a fresh, independent, design-led hospitality experience. It’s a property with real personality, and I’m incredibly proud to now be part of its story.”
The boutique hotel, located in a converted early 20th Century red-brick warehouse, features 42 guest rooms and suites, a communal bar and co-working space and is intended to operate on a “lifestyle approach” suited for both short and long stays.
Operated by Wellbrook Hospitality, privately owned by three former Ennismore and The Hoxton executives, Timothy Griffin, PJ Kenny and Prasanthan Balakrishnan, the hotel is co-owned and developed in partnership with entrepreneurs Joshua and Ben’s senior investment company, Branco Capital.
