Boutique hotel chain Point A Hotels has opened its second Edinburgh hotel in St Andrew Square, bringing its portfolio to 12 sites across the UK and Ireland.
Located close to Edinburgh Waverley Station, the hotel provides guests with access to the city’s Old Town, New Town, financial district and cultural attractions, strengthening its presence in key city centre locations.
To mark the launch, the hotel group has launched a promotional campaign to encourage direct bookings and increase occupancy at the property, offering 100 rooms per day at £100 a night over a 10-day period. The initiative supports the group’s wider strategy to grow customer loyalty as it expands across the UK.
The offer is available exclusively to members of the brand’s A List loyalty programme, which offers exclusive room rates, complimentary breakfast, preferred room selection and discounts. The promotion is available for stays until 31 December 2026, with a new allocation of rooms released daily.
The group said its offering focuses on “key essentials” including central locations and value-led pricing.
The opening comes as Edinburgh continues to attract strong demand from both domestic and international visitors, with hotel rates regularly exceeding £300 per night during major events and festivals. The group added that the property would increase the availability of central rooms during the city’s peak festival periods.
